What once began as a private studio, founded together with Alex Hart, has gradually evolved into a gallery environment, reflecting their shared passion for photography and art. Working from her studio and in-house gallery in Amsterdam, Hart presents her work within an intimate, carefully composed setting.
Anouk Hart’s visual language is shaped by a childhood between Asia and the Netherlands. She studied French in Paris before continuing in Fashion Management and Design at AMFI, later refining her practice in photography at the Photo Academy in Amsterdam.
Her practice is guided by a fascination with form, texture, and shadow. Through tight framing and bold contrasts, she creates sculptural compositions, transforming everyday moments into something quiet, surreal, and evocative.
