Studio Ahrt feels like a quiet refuge, gently removed from the rhythm of the city. Hidden along the Lauriergracht, one of Amsterdam's historic canals in the heart of the Art District, the space unfolds like a private home shaped by light, art, and collected objects. More than a studio or gallery, it is a place to arrive, linger, and immediately feel at ease.
Studio Ahrt is a 115 m² space combining a gallery and studio, with skylights and a small, green patio.
Created by Anouk and Alex Hart, Studio Ahrt combines the intimacy of a lived-in interior with the atmosphere of a contemporary exhibition space. Skylights, soft shadows, and carefully curated pieces define the setting, while the small patio and surrounding calm create a sense of retreat in the heart of the city.

Both personal and open, the space continuously evolves through exhibitions, collaborations, gatherings, and creative productions, a place shared quietly, almost as if only among friends.
The space includes a fully equipped kitchen, coffee and tea, lunch on request, Sonos, Wi-Fi, clothing rail, hangers, and steamer. White walls, natural daylight, backdrops, and concrete floor provide a flexible setting for productions and gatherings alike.
Selected clients include Bibi van der Velden, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle Germany, Sensai, DYO Studio, and Mek Interiors.
