The work begins with photography, but moves beyond what was originally captured. Approaching each image like an architect, form, balance and space become the foundations of the composition. Elements are shaped, shifted and brought together instinctively, gradually constructing a new visual reality. Rather than documenting a moment as it was, the work explores what an image can become.

Familiar forms move into abstraction, perspectives begin to shift and reality becomes less certain.The result exists somewhere between reality and imagination, a carefully constructed world that leaves space for interpretation.
